Job description: The OptoLab at the 'University of Rome Tor Vergata' (http://www.optolab.uniroma2.it) is a world leader in electronic device simulations, with almost 20 years expertise in the field of electronics and optoelectronics devices.
The group has been developing a new multiscale simulation software (TiberCAD) for nanodevices, based on the finite-elements discretization method and atomistic tight-binding approaches.
The successful applicant will work in a stimulating environment together with several Post-Docs and PhDs, focused on the development of new multiscale approaches to electronic optical properties in nanoscale devices and application of this tool to the filed of advanced optoelectronics devices. The work is made in an international context within the EU project CLERMONT 4.

We are looking for a Physicist or an Electronics Engineer, with good physical and mathematical knowledge.

Please send your CV with your academic record to Professor Aldo Di Carlo.
